Services

The SAC(M) Library is committed to supporting academic excellence by offering a range of resources and facilities for students, faculty, and researchers.

Lending Service

  • Students may borrow up to 4 books for 7 days against their College ID. Books must be returned on time; overdue fines apply.
  • Faculty may borrow up to 25 books per semester, to be returned at semester end.
  • Books cannot be reissued on the same day after return.

Reprography

Books can be photocopied at the designated exit gate upon depositing your College ID at the circulation counter.

Reading Room Facility

  • One reference book may be issued for use within the library against your College ID and must be returned the same day before closing.
  • Magazines and newspapers are for in-library use only.

OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue)

Search and locate books through the online catalogue with assistance from library staff.

E-Library

  • Access online e-resources subscribed by the library to support your academic needs.
  • Users may email requests for subject-specific e-books.

Digital Library

Borrow one CD-ROM per week against your College ID.

Reference Room (Overnight Use)

Borrow one reference book overnight against your College ID; return it the following day.

Braille Library

  • A dedicated laptop with Braille-compatible software is available in the E-section for visually impaired users.
  • Membership to the Central Library DULS Braille Section is available annually.

Current Awareness Service (CAS)

  • A weekly update every Friday provides students with the latest resources and information.
  • Users may submit specific topic requests for inclusion.

Online Search Services

  • Search and access online databases and internet-based academic resources in the E-section.
  • Email backups of retrieved content are permitted; USB devices are not allowed.
