We are the National Service Scheme (NSS), Sri Aurobindo College, University of Delhi—a community of young changemakers driven by the spirit of service. Functioning under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, our unit lives by the motto “Not Me, But You,” reflecting the essence of selfless action and collective responsibility.
At NSS Sri Aurobindo College, we take pride in our dedicated volunteers who step forward with compassion, initiative, and leadership. Through diverse activities and outreach, we strive to bridge the gap between grassroots needs and institutional efforts, ensuring that every step we take adds meaningfully to the larger vision of nation-building.
Our work extends across awareness campaigns, social outreach, environmental initiatives, educational support, and civic engagement, cultivating both personal growth in volunteers and real impact in the community. More than a service platform, NSS at Sri Aurobindo College is a movement of empathy, action, and unity, inspiring students to transform small acts of service into lasting waves of change.

Who says change has to be big to be meaningful? At NSS Sri Aurobindo College, we believe that every small act of service can spark a ripple of transformation. That’s why our work flows through six heartfelt projects —each carrying a dream, each creating its own story of impact.
“Let’s give back to the Earth that gives us everything.”
From planting saplings to raising voices for climate action, Vasundhara is our promise to protect the planet and keep it breathing for generations to come.
“Where every child’s laughter is a revolution of hope.”
Through education, care, and creativity, Kilkari lights up the lives of underprivileged children, ensuring that dreams grow just as freely as smiles.
“Empowered women empower the world.”
This initiative stands tall for women—amplifying voices, building confidence, and creating safer, stronger, and equal spaces for all.
“Because mental health matters as much as physical health.”
With conversations, awareness, and empathy, We Heal breaks the silence around mental health, reminding everyone that healing starts with being heard.
“Different abilities, equal dignity.”
Through collaboration and compassion, Sehyog works hand-in-hand with the specially-abled community, building a world that is inclusive and accessible for all.
“Breaking chains, building futures.”
This initiative leads awareness drives and support systems against substance abuse, guiding people toward healthier, brighter choices.
“We script service into stories.”
From event write-ups to campaign messaging, the Content team crafts clear, compelling communication. They shape concepts, draft reports, curate captions, and maintain consistency in voice and formatting—so every initiative is documented with impact and remembered with pride.
“Where ideas become systems.”
The Tech team builds and maintains our digital backbone—master sheets, forms, dashboards, website pages, and attendance/points automations. They ensure data accuracy, smooth registrations, and easy access to resources, turning day-to-day operations into smart workflows.
“Capturing moments, creating reach.”
This crew frames our work through photos, reels, and highlights, and amplifies it across platforms. From on-ground coverage to post-production and scheduling, they transform service into stories that inspire—growing visibility, engagement, and community trust.
NSS Aurobindo College also brings out an annual Magazine “SARANSH” that documents the year-round efforts of our volunteers: from on-ground campaigns to thought-provoking reflections and creative submissions. The magazine is a testament to the spirit of service and storytelling that defines our unit.
