The department proudly hosts Aakraya, its vibrant student-led Commerce Association, established in 2012. Aakraya champions the spirit of academic excellence, leadership, and collaboration. It serves as a launchpad for ambitious students, offering exclusive opportunities for exposure, networking, and skill development. Its flagship event, TRGOVINA, launched in 2017–18, has emerged as one of the most anticipated inter-college commerce fests, drawing participation from top institutions like SRCC and LSR. The fest features high-energy events such as Mock Stock, Shark Tank, and the IPL Gala, where creativity meets competition.
Beyond the fest, Aakraya organizes expert sessions with industry stalwarts like Mr. Anil Swarup (former Coal Secretary of India), webinars, panel discussions, and industrial field visits to companies like Parle and Yakult. These initiatives aim to bridge academic learning with real-world business exposure, making Aakraya a cornerstone of the department’s commitment to student excellence.
AAKRAYA strives to groom future leaders through practical exposure, fostering an environment of collaboration, skill development, and academic excellence.
