Chemistry

Department of Chemistry is one of the most prestigious and premier Science Departments of this college. From a modest beginning in the old building block of the college in the 1990s the chemistry department has metamorphosed in to a fully equipped modern complex with a state-of-art laboratories and instrumentation lab. In addition to catering to teaching needs of students.These laboratories are also devoted to innovative research by the faculty members and students.

The teaching faculty of Chemistry department comprises of eight associate professors. Each specialised in their own field of research. At present the Chemistry Department is engaged in three innovation projects sponsored by the University of Delhi.
